Online Classes Monday, (2nd August 2021)

Hello, Welcome to our 2nd week of Online Learning via Zoom.

This is the 2nd week of our online learning and some students are still finding it hard to submit all the requirements in week 5. When we started zoom classes 3 weeks ago, they were not required to submit some outputs from what they've learned, since the first 2 weeks were not part of their assessments yet. The recorded and official classes started last week, so the students are still getting use to the online requirements (worksheets, assessments and homework) submission.

But slowly, they were catching up. I hope, they will be more prepared this week.

Let's take a look on what happened today, 2nd August 2021.

P5/1 and P5/2

The class started with the reminders about the submission of their worksheets online and the week 5 assessment that some of them missed. I gave them more time to finish their works. Some of them submitted their missed requirements just after the online class. Well done guys!. 

It followed by out weekly Word Bank (number 6) discussion and practice. They studied the words through translation and photos. They practice the spelling and pronunciation of the words. Some of the students volunteered to read the words by themselves and some were called. 

Right after this, we studied the phrase in our Everybody Up book. We covered Unit 2, lesson 2 which is Making Camp today. Students practiced the phrases and their translations. Next, we studied and practice the target conversation of the lesson.

E.g.

She was telling stories when I arrived at the campsite.

When I arrived at the campsite, she was telling stories.

Random student were called to practice t he target conversation and they called who ever they liked to practiced after them. Everybody was listening carefully and attentively, because they might called next.
