It's already the 2nd day of Week 6, and our online classes are going smooth. Students already know their routine and I can say, Most of them already adopted the online learning, and some are still having a hard time adopting most specially to the students who needs more help. But they are surely catching up. Some of the students are really performing well and I like it when they are always participating in class. Some of them really love to be called in discussions.

Going back to the online class, here are the things that happed today.

P5/1:

We started reviewing our Word Bank #6. We practiced the spelling and pronunciation.  I called students individually to practice the spelling and read all the words together. After this, we studied and discussed the 2nd part of their Everybody Up Student Book, page 15. We reviewed the phrases and the target conversation from yesterday's lesson. We studied and practiced our target conversation today:

e.g.

Q: What was she doing when you saw the deer?

A: She was roasting fish.

We also studied and discussed our Grammar point which was the "Quotation Marks". They learned that we use quotation marks to quote someone speaking.

e.g.

"I am learning their names and how to read the star map" said Jason.

We started our class in the morning with reviewing our Word Bank number 6. Everybody practiced the spelling and pronunciation. I called them one by one to recite the spelling given to them. practicing the spelling everyday would help them remember the words' spelling and recognize them, and then later on, memorize them. 

It was followed by the review of our lesson yesterday about the first part of their Everybody Up Student Book, Unit 2, Lesson 2: Making Camp. We practiced the target language and Grammar points. Students called their friends to practice the conversation between them. Practicing the conversation among themselves would help them be more confident. I just guided them with the pronunciation and intonation. Everybody did well during our review practice. After this, we continue with the other part of the book. We studied and discussed the new target language.

We also studied and discussed our Grammar point which was the "Quotation Marks". They learned that we use quotation marks to quote someone speaking.

Their reading and listening comprehension were also tested by listening and reading our passage, "Star Camp". The students were able to practice reading with proper phasing and intonation. They were also tested with their comprehension by answer questions based on the passage. This lesson of the book is very beneficial and helpful to the students to learn more about the language in wholistic approach, in which, they were able to practice all the skills of English.

P5/2:

In the afternoon, we talked about first about our 2nd Quarter project on making a video about Mother's Day: "I Love My Mom". I showed them my last year students' projects to guide them and to give them more idea about the project. Some showed excitement about the project. The next thing we did was, we reviewed our previous lessons and practiced once once more, and we answered their Everybody Up Workbook. I gave them a chance to answer the questions by themselves part by part, and we answered them together after the allotted time. They enjoyed answering the workbook while listening to their requested songs. Guess what? The songs were from black Pink and BTS, I think most of the students really like K-Pop songs. Ahahhahahaha.. But not me. I just listened to them to make them happy. BTS WARIORS will curse me. aahhahahahahahahaahah 555555555++++
