Week 8: Tuesday, 17th August 2021

Hello, it's Tuesday and a brand new day to learn.  

Students were excited to study because they were excited to tell me that Thailand is number one in POPCAT in the world. ahahhahahhaha. I didn't know what was that at first, I thought its kinda like an RPG game, but I was wrong. I was surprised that it was just a clicking game, and scores will be based on how fast you can tap your phone in a minute, and Thailand is number 1 for that. It means, Thais got the fastest finger in the world which is insane. ahahhahhhahaahah. To celebrate their enthusiasm, We put "POP' in our names on Zoom. ahahahhahhaa.

What we have learnt today:

In the morning,

Both P5/1 and P5/2, we continued our English book about 'Plants' in Everybody Up, Unit 2: Lesson 4. We reviewed the vocabulary and the talked about the importance of plants, parts of a plant and it's functions. We also practiced the target language. They were free to call who ever they want and practice the target conversation with their friend. It's about asking questions about the parts of a plant and their functions. Students like this activity because they gain confidence as they practice with their friends. They are more relaxed and confident.

Here's our target conversation:

Q1: Which part of the plants are these?

A1: They are the leaves.

Q2: What do they do?

A2: They use the sun to make food for the plant.

In the afternoon,

I only met P5/2. I let them answer their workbooks and we checked them together. We also learned some facts about the "Corn Plant".  When we finished answering the workbook, we got back to our target conversation and gave change to the students who hadn't practiced yet.

นักเรียนรู้สึกตื่นเต้นที่ได้เรียนเพราะรู้สึกตื่นเต้นที่จะบอกฉันว่าประเทศไทยเป็นที่หนึ่งใน POPCAT ในโลก ฮ่าๆๆๆ ตอนแรกฉันไม่รู้ว่ามันคืออะไร ฉันคิดว่ามันเหมือนกับเกม RPG แต่ฉันคิดผิด ฉันแปลกใจมากที่มันเป็นแค่เกมคลิก และคะแนนจะขึ้นอยู่กับความเร็วที่คุณสามารถแตะโทรศัพท์ได้ใน 1 นาที และประเทศไทยเป็นที่ 1 สำหรับเรื่องนั้น หมายความว่าคนไทยได้นิ้วที่เร็วที่สุดในโลกซึ่งบ้าไปแล้ว อะฮะฮะฮะฮะฮะฮะฮะ เพื่อเป็นการเฉลิมฉลองความกระตือรือร้นของพวกเขา เราใส่ "POP" ในชื่อของเราบน Zoom ฮ่าฮ่าฮ่าฮ่าฮ่า

ตอนเช้า,

ทั้ง P5/1 และ P5/2 เราได้ทำหนังสือภาษาอังกฤษต่อเกี่ยวกับ 'Plants' in Everyone Up, บทที่ 2: บทที่ 4 เราทบทวนคำศัพท์และพูดคุยเกี่ยวกับความสำคัญของพืช ส่วนต่างๆ ของพืช และหน้าที่ของมัน เรายังฝึกภาษาเป้าหมาย พวกเขามีอิสระที่จะโทรหาใครก็ได้ที่พวกเขาต้องการและฝึกการสนทนาเป้าหมายกับเพื่อนของพวกเขา มันเกี่ยวกับการถามคำถามเกี่ยวกับส่วนต่าง ๆ ของพืชและหน้าที่ของมัน นักเรียนชอบกิจกรรมนี้เพราะได้รับความมั่นใจเมื่อได้ฝึกร่วมกับเพื่อนๆ พวกเขาผ่อนคลายและมั่นใจมากขึ้น
