Week 6: Wednesday, 15th June 2022

P5/1 started their English with Word bank #6 review and practice. The practice as led by Rohana. Then, it was followed by their new topic in Grammar —Collective Nouns. First, they watched a video then we talked about the topic. We had some exercises before answering their book exercises. After they answer their books, we check their answers together. 

In the afternoon, we went to the reading room. We reviewed the parts of the book, then read the vocabulary. Then, they read altogether.  When they finished reading the whole story, we talked about it. 

P5/2 reviewed their Word Bank #6 and Everybody Up verb phrases, before they learned Grammar. Word Bank #6 practiced was led by Nita, and Everybody Up verb phrases was led by KK. After their review, moved on to our new Grammar topic —Collective Nouns. I discussed the new lesson to them, then we had some exercises. They answered their book exercises after the practice. Then, we answered the together.

EXTRA ENGLISH

In Extra English, we reviewed of topic in Grammar about Collective Nouns. Then, They answered their Extra English book while listening to their favorite music. Then, We checked the answered together. 

We did our Extra English in reading room. They felt more relaxed as they were not in a conventional way of studying. Some students where lying on the mat while finishing their book, while others are seated. I let the choose however they want to do their books as long as they were comfortable.
