Week 7: Friday, 24th June 2022

Students were given time to reviewed their week 7 lessons, before taking their Week 7 Assessment. We did our week 7 in Smart Classroom. After their week 7 assessment, they did their Q2 project. They did research about the thing that they can do in camping. Some students did their project while listening to music. I saw different learning strategies among my students and I was able to know them better.

In the afternoon, P5/2 also did their Q2 project.

EXTRA ENGLISH

We did our Extra English in the Reading room. During this time, I let them watch a movie —Ponyo. It was a story of a fish that wanted to be a human. They weren't able to finish it because we only have 50 minutes, but I promised them that we will continue the movie next Friday. We had picnic (pandemic style) after the class.

Ponyo Plot Synopsis

During a forbidden excursion to see the surface world, a goldfish princess encounters a human boy named Sosuke, who gives her the name Ponyo. Ponyo longs to become human, and as her friendship with Sosuke grows, she becomes more humanlike. Ponyo's father brings her back to their ocean kingdom, but so strong is Ponyo's wish to live on the surface that she breaks free, and in the process, spills a collection of magical elixirs that endanger Sosuke's village.
